Ahaji Amos

Ahaji Amos has practiced law since 1999. Her background includes IP litigation experience at both Akin Gump and Thompson Coburn, where she handled complex intellectual property disputes. She is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is a certified mediator in the state of Texas.

She holds law licenses in three states: Texas, North Carolina, and Missouri. This multi-state licensure, combined with her litigation background, gives her a broad vantage point when she steps into the role of neutral.

Ahaji brings that same litigation depth to her work as a mediator and arbitrator. She believes parties resolve cases when the neutral understands the case as well as the lawyers do, and she applies that standard to every matter she takes on, digging into the technical and legal details rather than mediating at a surface level. Her IP litigation background is particularly valuable in disputes involving patents, trademarks, and other complex intellectual property matters, where a neutral without that subject-matter fluency can struggle to earn the parties' confidence.

That combination of practical experience, dual credentials (USPTO registration and mediation certification), and multi-jurisdictional licensing positions her to serve as a neutral who speaks the same language as the attorneys in the room, whether the dispute involves IP litigation, general commercial matters, or other complex legal issues requiring subject-matter depth.
